Meet Dr. Jeff DeYoung

Dr. DeYoung is a Michigan Native, born and raised in West Michigan. After graduating from East Kentwood High School, he went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Hope College earning his
bachelor’s in science in Biology and Biochemistry. After graduation, he attended University of Detroit Mercy, where his love for Oral Surgery and optimal patient care began.

This passion for oral surgery led him to an Internship in Oral surgery at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Denver Health Medical Center. During his training, he gained experience in the broad scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery including facial trauma, management of pathology of the head and neck, reconstruction of the facial skeleton, temporomandibular joint surgery, bone grafting, dental extractions and dental implants.

He is Board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and continues to stay educated and up to date on latest surgical advancements to provide top quality care to his patients.

Meet Dr. Mark Grinzinger

Dr. Grinzinger is a board certified oral surgeon working in our Grandville, MI location. His journey in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery began at the prestigious University of Michigan, where he earned his dental degree. He continued to hone his skills by obtaining his medical degree at Wayne State University. His dedication to excellence led him to complete a rigorous residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Ascension St. John-Providence Health System in Detroit, MI. During his residency, Dr. Grinzinger received extensive training in the management of pathology, trauma, and head and neck reconstruction, earning him the prestigious role of Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in his final year.

Dr. Grinzinger’s professional interests encompass a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental anesthesia, oral pathology, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, and dental implantology. He is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and his diverse skill set ensures that he can provide comprehensive care to patients with varying needs.

Meet Dr. Paul Huizinga

Meet Dr. Huizinga, a board-certified Oral Surgeon working at our Grandville, MI location. Born in Grand Rapids and raised in nearby Jenison, Dr. Huizinga has deep roots in the community. He completed his undergraduate studies at Calvin College before pursuing his dental education at the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

After dental school, he completed a residency in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and received his medical education at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, equipping him with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional patient care.

Dr. Huizinga is dedicated to providing high-quality surgical care and is committed to staying updated on the latest advancements in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Meet Dr. Ashley Houle

Dr. Houle is a board certified oral surgeon working at our Grand Haven, MI office. She is a Grand Haven, Michigan native and attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate education before moving to New York City to complete her dental training at Columbia University. She then moved to Chicago to complete medical school, general surgery training, and residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During residency, she gained extensive experience in orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, head & neck oncology, and microvascular surgery, microneurosurgery, disorders, and surgical procedures involving the temporomandibular joints, as well as computer-assisted virtual surgical treatment planning.

Dr. Houle is a compassionate provider that will apply her training and expertise to address your needs as an individual. She enjoys her role as an educator and prioritizes being up to date with the latest advances in her specialty. She is both an avid reader and contributor to numerous peer-reviewed journals and texts.

Meet Dr. George Kirby

Dr. Kirby is a board-certified oral surgeon working at our Michigan Ave. office in Holland. He was born and raised in Olivet, Michigan, a small community just south of Lansing.  He attended Olivet High School and was active in high school sports. He then went to Central Michigan University, where he was a member of the Varsity Men’s Track Team and won a MAC Championship. During that time, he received a bachelor’s degree in cardiac rehabilitation.

Dr. Kirby received his dental school training at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he participated in a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the John D. Dingell VA Hospital in Detroit. He then went on to complete his oral and maxillofacial surgical training at St. John Providence Hospital System and received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Meet Dr. Kyle Klooster

Dr. Klooster is a board-certified oral surgeon working at our Riley St. office in Holland. He was born and raised in Grand Haven, Michigan. After graduating from Grand Haven High School, he went on to complete his undergraduate education in Biomedical Science, at Western Michigan University. Following the completion of his Bachelor’s Degree, he pursued his dental education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. While in dental school, he did multiple externships at Parkland Hospital, Virginia Commonwealth, and St. John Providence. After finishing dental school, he decided to stay in the metro Detroit area,

Where he completed a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at St. John Hospital and received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. During this residency, he gained extensive experience with facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, head, and neck microvascular surgery, along with advanced dental implants. To this day, he continues to stay current with the most innovative technology and frequently attends advanced courses throughout the country to stay on the cutting edge of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Meet Dr. Mark Lonergan

Dr. Lonergan is a board certified oral surgeon working out of our Riley St. office in Holland, mi. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, and attended Ursinus College. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in biology he went on to complete his dental education at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Graduating top of his class, he completed a five-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. This included extensive training in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including complex dental alveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery (facial reconstructive surgery), head and neck tumor surgery, and facial cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Lonergan has a particular clinical interest and expertise in dental implantology, dental alveolar surgery, periodontal plastic surgery, facial trauma, and orthognathic surgery (jaw reconstructive surgery). Dr. Lonergan has completed extensive postgraduate continuing education courses to ensure that his knowledge base is up-to-date on the latest medical, dental, and surgical techniques and practices. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

Meet Dr. Keith Nalley

Dr. Nalley moved to Grand Haven, MI at 9 years of age after his father was stationed here by the U.S. Coast Guard. This has been his hometown ever since. He graduated from Grand Haven High School.  His undergraduate studies were completed at Hope College in Holland, MI. He received his dental training at the University of Michigan where he received the Chalmers J Lyons Award which is given to the top oral surgery student of the graduating dental class.

He then completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Detroit Medical Center (DMC) / Wayne State Medical School.  In addition to his time spent treating patients, Dr. Nalley has also been very involved in various surgical organizations and committees.

He is a member of the Michigan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and was past president of the Great Lakes Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and The National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is also a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
